چکیده
Abstract Aims We present short-term results from the personal series of laparoscopic TAPP inguinal hernia procedures performed during 1st year postgraduate in General Surgery. Material and Method Retrospective study where we analyzed our database patients diagnosed with undergoing surgical treatment using approach-TAPP. Results A total 77 underwent approach (men: 90%, age: 61(RIQ: 4 2.5–68 years)). LOS:1(RIQ:1–2 days). BMI: 2 7.3±3.3kg/m2. Overweight(57.1%). Hernia characteristics: bilateral(84.4%), inguino-scrotal(10.4%), Lateral 66.2%), Medial(7.8%), Mixed(24.7%) Femoral 1.3%). Overall complications: 8(10.4%). Serious intraoperative: 0%. Seroma: 10.4%. Hematoma: ISQ: Recurrence: 1(1.3%). an analysis comparing(X2) operated on first 6 months(Period A) vs. those second B), obtained following terms inguino-scrotal hernias (0% 18.6% p = 0.008), mod-large : type 2–3(44.1% 65.1% p=0.065), non-fixation mesh(14.7% 51.2% w=0.001), time<60min(5.9% 46.5% w<0.05), global complications (5.9% 11.6% p=0.38), recurrence(2.9% 0% p=0.25). Conclusions The to offers advantages minimally invasive surgery: less postoperative pain, fewer complications, shorter hospital stay, early return usual physical activities. It is a technique that requires learning curve but it possible be safely effectively by young surgeon under supervision more experienced surgeon, without increasing rate intraoperative or short times successful results.

Transabdominal preperitoneal laparoscopic approach for incarcerated inguinal hernia repair
To investigate the efficacy, key technical points, and complication management of the transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) approach for incarcerated inguinal hernia repair. Seventy-three patients with incarcerated inguinal hernias underwent TAPP surgery in our department between Jan 2010 and Dec 2015. A retrospective review was performed by analyzing the perioperative data from these patients. T...

LAPAROSCOPIC TRANSABDOMINAL PRE-PERITONEAL (TAPP) FOR BILATERAL INGUINAL HERNIA (Abstract): The laparoscopic approach is not still the world wide accepted for the treatment of inguinal hernias. However, in the last years, this approach tends to become the gold standard procedure for the one day surgery of groin hernias. We present the laparoscopic TransAbdominal PrePeritoneal approach (TAPP) in...

Purpose. To evaluate the feasibility, safety, and effectiveness of laparoscopic transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) inguinal hernia repair using a memory-ring patch (Polysoft™ mesh). Patients and Methods. Between April 2010 and March 2013, a total of 76 inguinal hernias underwent TAPP repair using Polysoft mesh in 67 adults under general anesthesia. Three different senior resident surgeons perf...
متن کاملSimultaneous laparoscopic cholecystectomy and transabdominal preperitoneal hernioplasty: two case reports evaluate the safety and surgical complications
The safety of combining transabdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) hernioplasty and cholecystectomy in one laparoscopic surgery is still for many years questionable. We report two cases describing the safety and discussing the main concerns regarding the complications. As there are only few cases discuss this kind of combination, we aim to further clarify this subject to provide the best practice for ...

Repair of inguinal hernias may be performed using either open surgery or laparoscopic techniques. Following surgery, a 6-wk waiting period is generally recommended before a pilot returns to active duty, including flight in high-performance aircraft. A shorter waiting period would be operationally useful and may be possible following either a trans-abdominal preperitoneal (TAPP) laparoscopic tec...
